ABOUT ME

My name is Howie, and my observatory is located in Gold Canyon, Arizona, about 45 miles outside of Phoenix. It is near a desert preserve, which is kinda neat, and Gold Canyon has light pollution ordinances that make observing rather nice :)

I bought my first telescope, a Celestron 8" SCT, in March of 2004. Since then I've upgraded the scope a bit, bought a ton of eyepieces, and have gotten into astrophotography.
